The Giants Causeway

The Giants Causeway

Considering that there is so much to see in the UK (we are part of four countries after all), I have to say that I don’t believe that I have been an actual tourist for the day here.  So I thought it was time to change.  With family based in Northern Ireland, I thought was time to go and visit the Giant’s Causeway, County Antrim, a huge landmark – some say made by giants – that over the recent years has become a famous landmark in Northern Ireland.  I have to admit I have visited this place a few times in my lifetime but only when I was young so I don’t really have any memories of the place.

Well, let me tell you, it was worth the visit.  The scenery was simply stunning!  Named as the fourth greatest natural wonder in the United Kingdom, the Giant’s causeway is made up of hexagonal stone columns that lead out and disappear into the sea.

I chose on the day to wear ‘mom’ jeans from Topshop, a black bodysuit, a navy knitted jumper from Urban Outfitters and black and white Converse, mostly for comfort but also for warmth as even though the weather was glorious that day, being near the coast means cold coastal breezes too.
