I believe that summer is finally here now that we are in June – yippee! And for that reason I decided to stroll around London with a floral headband as though I was announcing to the world that summer had arrived in the city. How long this weather will last is another question, however I might as well make the most of it whilst I can.
Outfitted here I have gone with a Zara halterneck styled top that for me is my top of the summer. It goes with everything, is light to wear and with the added details of the lace and tie bows at the sides, makes it go from a plain old top to something special. This top is worn with my classic pair of Boden ‘side stripe’ jeans that I cut the bottoms off to create the distressed look that is in this season. I’ve found that when doing this to wash the jeans straight away afterwards as it creates more of that distressed look instead of looking like a clean cut that has been done by a pair of kitchen scissors. And finally the comfiest shoes that I have found so far this year, Office Magnestic Flatforms that are both light on the feet and give me a bit of height as well (something I need as I’m so short)!
