The statement shoes. The shoes that makes anyone go wow. The shoes that you want to wear with anything so you can show them off. You get the jist of it. Well, for me these boots were those shoes. I have to say the one trend that I am loving this season is the embroidered flowers and patterns that are being seen on jackets, trousers, blouses and shoes. I am gaining a collection to say the least of these items of clothing. So when I saw these shoes at Office I ‘literally’ couldn’t say no. The shoes are ‘Literally’ by the way. Not too high to be in pain however high enough that they can go from day-to-night easily and with them being mostly black (like most of my wardrobe) they will go with pretty much everything. Oh and did I mention that they were velvet too. Two trends in one shoes, smashed it!
This outfit also features a black velvet vintage jacket borrowed from my mother, like a lot of my clothing (she will be featuring on here soon I promise), black jeans from Zara, a Thomas Sabo necklace – silver and simple with my initials embossed into it – and an Armani exchange clutch. Not normally a fan of the clutch as I like to use my hands when I talk and with a clutch this is a problem, however it fits everything that I need into it without looking too big or chunky and I feel the cream colour tones down an outfit making you concentrate on the bag. Like a feature item like the boots really.
